BOARD MEETING MINUTES

August 12, 2008

 

The regular meeting of the Board was held at 320 Holbrook as Antelope Trails Elementary School was not available.  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Jim Kennel reported that he is communication with Branton Turner of Management Services of Colorado regarding the proposal we received last month. The Board will have this on the agenda for the annual meeting in October.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT:  Kathy McCall provided the report.  There was a review of the budget versus actual expenses through the end of July.  Kathy also presented the balance sheet as of July 30th.  The entries were reviewed.  The reports were approved as presented.   Kathy gave a report on the status of dues collection. 

 

RESPONSES TO LETTERS SENT/UNRESOLVED ISSUES:  The letters that were sent last month and the responses that were received were discussed.  The current covenant violations were discussed and the appropriate action will be taken.

 

COMMON AREAS:   It was brought to the Board’s attention that a homeowner has been dumping dirt and sod over their backyard fence onto the common area along Gleneagle Drive.  The homeowner will be notified. 

 

Don Moller will get the mowing set up for the common areas.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH:   Lisa Lewis reported that our annual Neighborhood Watch Night Out held on August 5th was successful with many of the homeowners and their children attending.  The Sheriff’s department and the Fire Department were represented at the meeting.   The Board discussed having the location move each year and will plan to have next year’s event on Medford.

 

HOMEOWNER CONCERNS & APPROVALS:  There have been complaints about the parking situation at the west end cul-de-sac of Holbrook Street.  The postman has left several notices of cars being in the way of delivering mail.
